Found some very early orchids today, must be due to the very warm weather, namely a Serapsis Orchid, a Giant Barlia and the Dark Bee Orchid. Sunday 16 February 2020
A burst of sunshine in between a few rainy days inspired a walk up the hill behind my cortijo to see if any wild orchids had started to peek through. After half an hour of searching I was rewarded with a new find – a hybrid orchid was ready to reveal itself. I am sure I will find a few more over the next few weeks, but for now enjoy the slideshow of current and past discoveries.
